Greg Mitchell likes monsters. So much so, in fact, he wrote a whole trilogy about a small town learning to take a stand on faith and challenge the dark forces creeping in. You can purchase the first act, The Strange Man, right over here.
Greg is a Christian who believes that the Bible is 100% true, and he does his best to live his life according to its principles and write things that help teach others about Jesus Christ. Back in 2001, he co-wrote the novel Time Changer, published by White Harvest Books, with his friend and Christian filmmaker, Rich Christiano. In 2002, Time Changer was made into a theatrically released motion picture, and it is now available on DVD. Check it out. Since then, Greg has worked on a number of scripts for Christian features that are in various stages of production.
Greg is also a completely unashamed geek who loves comic books, horror movies, super heroes, and Star Wars. In 2006, thanks to a special feature on the Official Star Wars website entitled What's the Story, Greg was given the opportunity to contribute to an official piece of Star Wars lore by developing the backstory for a random piece of set dressing found in a deleted scene of Episode I: The Phantom Menace. His creation, the Dusty Duck, can be found here. Thanks to the appeal of the Dusty Duck backstory, Greg was invited to write a short story featuring his creation, this time on an unofficial level, for the premiere issue of Star Wars Outsider, a free online fanzine. Greg is also a contributor of original online content at the Official Halloween Comics website, right over here.
Needless to say, between his devotion to God and his love of all things geek, Greg is considered odd by some people. But his wife and daughter love him, so that's encouraging.
Since 1998, Greg has been developing The Coming Evil Trilogy, which, in God's timing, he hopes to share with the world in its entirety.
